Silas Goodman is a Montréal-based composer, filmmaker and photographer. Harboring an equal love for film and music from a young age, he studied music theory and composition at Boston University before transferring to Concordia University, Montréal, and graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film studies and a minor in music in 2021. 

He began his professional career as the lead videographer at La Hacienda Creative and MNTRA, founded by award-winning composer Brian D’Oliveira, during which his work was published in Composer Magazine (photographer) and released by Sony Entertainment VEVO (director/videographer). As an independent filmmaker and composer, Silas’ work has thus far been screened at the Fantasia International Film Festival (foley/sound designer/boom operator), Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma (music composer/boom operator) and the Atlantic International Film Festival (music composer).
